Carolyn Drue (Runyon) Stidham

In Loving Memory
Carolyn Drue Stidham, a cherished Mom, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, and friend known for her kind, loving, caring, and humorous personality, left us on October 10, 2024. Born on April 17, 1939, Carolyn lived a full life filled with love and service towards others.
Carolyn was the daughter of Margie and Cecil Runyon and was born in Sandgap, Kentucky. She married the love of her life, Ted Stidham, on March 8th, 1958, in Jellico, Tennessee and was a dedicated wife and mother to her children.
Carolyn is survived by three daughters and one son, Leslie (Doug) Ellison, Vickie (Jeff) Williams, Dana (Greg) Willoughby and Tony (Gina) Stidham. Carolyn is survived by her grandchildren: Brittany (Trey) Whitmire, Andrew (Jen) Ellison, Evan Culp, Cameron (Katie) Culp, Chad Williams, Tyler Willoughby, Amber Willoughby, Jessica Stidham, Julian Stidham, Jacob Anderson and Ethan Anderson. Carolyn is survived by her great grandchildren: Ellison, Madeline, Peyton, EmmaLynn, Carter, Copper, Walker, Myla, Saige, and Jacob. Carolyn’s survived siblings are: Ruth Boggs, Terri Runyon, and Thys “Jeff” (Eric) DeYoung.
She loved to have people around her and would often host her family for great lunches after church. Because of her love of meeting and talking to people, she would occasionally work as a sales representative for many different businesses. One of her specialties was to work as a home interior decorator. Carolyn spent the last years of her life spending time with her family and sharing all of the many wonderful attributes she possessed. She will be terribly missed but always remembered. Carolyn was a member of the Church of Christ.
