Kenneth "Poncho" Wayne Snodgrass
1941 - 2024

Kenneth “Poncho” Wayne Snodgrass, age 83 of Weber City, VA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Kenneth was born on February 28, 1941, in Scott County, VA to Joseph and Josephine Snodgrass. Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Army. On August 11, 1961, Kenneth married the love of his life, Danise Adams, and after 64 years of a beautiful marriage she survives.
Kenneth was a member of First Baptist Church Weber City where he was a faithful Sunday School teacher. Kenneth loved trout fishing, camping, and anything to do with the outdoors. He also enjoyed flower gardening and writing in his journal.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy Snodgrass; brother, David; and two sisters, Joyce and Mary Ruth. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Danise Snodgrass; daughter, Judy Smith; two grandchildren, Amber Forrester, and Tyler Fields; six great-grandchildren, Natalie Vicars, Allie Fields, Cash Fields, Wyatt Fields, Zoe Fields, and Iliana Forrester; one great-great-granddaughter, Sophie Sizemore; two sisters, Louise and Janice; special friend, Dean Smith; his Sunday School members; many loving nieces, nephews, and other family members; and his miniature Australian Shepherd, Bear
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church Weber City. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Justin Smith officiating.
