Mary Ann Fehringer
November 19th, 1938 - October 8th, 2024
Mary Ann Fehringer, born November 19, 1938, in Purcell, Colorado, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2024, in Loveland, Colorado. Mary Ann was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker known for her unwavering love and commitment to her family. She was married for 62 years to her husband, John (Jack) Fehringer, and they shared a beautiful life, raising five children together who were the pride of her life: Jeff Fehringer, Brad (wife Kim) Fehringer, Christy (husband Brad) Coons, Jennifer Stites, and Leanne (husband Richard) Waterman.
She was also blessed with eleven grandchildren whom she loved very much: Lorenzo and Antonio Fehringer, Alexis and Abbie Fehringer, Olivia Owens, Corrin and Sydney Coons, Savana and Wil Stites, and Garrett and Camdyn Waterman, along with many nieces and nephews.
Having lost her parents around the age of 5, she was cared for in a Catholic orphanage in Pueblo, Colorado. She graduated from Pueblo Central High School and went on to work at the Martin Company in Littleton, Colorado, where she met Jack. From these humble beginnings, she grew up with a deep appreciation for the blessings in her life. She was a devout Catholic, finding strength and solace in her faith.
Very outgoing, she would typically be seen with an infectious smile. An excellent card player, she spent hours with friends and family at the table, enjoying laughter and friendly competition –though she always meant business. Her love for camping created cherished memories with loved ones, and her camper was a comfortable extension of her home.
To meet her was to like her; to know her was to love her. Her warm demeanor and loving nature left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob (Jack) and Mary Zadel and her siblings Francis (Fran), Phillip (Phil) and Robert (Bob) Zadel.
Memorial services will be held at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Loveland, Colorado, on October 15, 2024, starting with a Viewing at 9am, Rosary at 10am, Service at 11am with reception and burial to follow.
