Paulette Kugler Masson, 78, of Ocklawaha, Florida, passed away in Ocala on October 10, 2024. She was born on May 24, 1946, in Salem, New Jersey, to Edward and Shirley Springer. Paulette was a devoted family woman who cherished spending time with her loved ones.

 

She earned an Associate of Science Degree and later retired from Elster Amco Water. Paulette enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, such as reading, bowling, working on puzzles and most of all time with family and friends. She was a member of the Forest United Methodist Church, where she found comfort and fellowship.

 

Paulette was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Shirley Springer; her first husband, Warren E. Kugler, Sr.; her sister, Robin Bechtel; her brother, Edward Springer, Jr.; her daughter, Veronica J. Brank; and her son, Warren E. Kugler, Jr.

 

She is survived by her husband, Richard Masson of Ocklawaha, Florida; her great-aunt, Nancy Jones of Pennsville, New Jersey; her daughter, Shirley K. Thomas (Camp) of Ocala, Florida; her stepdaughters, Cindy Long of Ocklawaha, Florida, BJ Mumford of Anthony, Florida, and Candace Masson of Saint Petersburg, Florida. Paulette also leaves behind five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, who brought her much joy.

 

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home in Belleview, officiated by Reverend Sarah Campbell of Forest United Methodist Church.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Paulette's memory.
