James "Jim" Michael Dannelevitz, Sr.

Dannelevitz, Sr., James “Jim” of Sun City Center passed away September 22, 2024, at his home under the care of hospice. He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven “Tippy” Dannelevitz and his parents, Anne and Frank Dannelevitz.  Jim is survived by his wife, Pamela, his son Jimmy Dannelevitz Jr., his daughter Suzy Dannelevitz and his granddaughter, Adelyn “Addy” Dannelevitz.

Jim was a member of the “10 Gallon Club” as a blood donor, and in 1991 he donated bone marrow to save a young man’s life. The marrow recipient is currently alive and well living with his wife in Pennsylvania.

Jim spent time in the Army, was a Boy Scout leader and even went on to earn his Wood Badge. He always talked about how proud he was to be a member of the Vanguard Marching Drum and the Bugle Corp while in his teens. He was also a collector of watches, coins, stamps, and other “stuff.”

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Aston Gardens at the Courtyards in Sun City Center, FL 33573.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital or a Pet Rescue of your choice.
