Throughout his life, he was never without something to do, always keeping himself busy with his various hobbies. Whether working on cars and equipment, driving back roads, or going fishing, Benny enjoyed being outdoors and “piddling” with things in his free time. He was known for his hard work and dedication.
Benny was a loving father, son, papaw, brother, and friend who will always be remembered for the love he shared. His kindness, warmth, and devotion to his family and friends will remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He loved his family deeply and was extremely devoted to them. Benny never hesitated to help others, ensuring no one went without. Whether offering a helping hand or simply being there to listen, he was the type of man who would give the shirt off his back, even in his final days.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to his niece, Misty Burke, for her unbelievable support and unwavering presence during this time. Misty was always there when needed, providing comfort and assistance to Benny and his family. A special thanks is also extended to George Pearce, who was always there when needed and prayed for Benny’s healing and strength. Additionally, the family appreciates the immense support provided by Amedisys Hospice Care during Benny’s final days.
