Anthony Green, 54, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024, at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born on December 7, 1969, in Amsterdam, a son of the late Walter Sr. and Mattie (McClary) Green.
For the last 8 years, Anthony has worked at Amsterdam Castle where he was head of maintenance. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing with his nephew, Mark Kruger, loved to hunt and most of all, spend time with his family and friends.
Anthony is survived by his fiancé, Frances Schnurr; children, Robert Green, Amanda Green, Brittney Blanchard and Cory Blanchard; stepchildren, Willy Dingman (Marissa), Alisha Dingman, Tara Manhart, Samantha Jackman, Rebecca Jackman and Paul John Edgar; siblings, Robert Green (Desiree), Carl Green, Ruth Johnson, Lillian Kruger (Steve) and Emily Nearh (Mel); godson, Michael Stone; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Anthony was predeceased by his wife, Terri Jo (Dingman) Green, who passed away on Jul 31, 2013; granddaughter, Grace Terri Jo Green; brothers, Walter Green Jr. and John Green; sisters, Mary Ann Becker and Cora Engle.
Anthony’s care has been entrusted to Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam.
