Ronald "Ronnie" Gene Rudd
April 16th, 1950 - September 27th, 2024
Ronald Gene Rudd, age 74 of Clewiston, Florida passed away in Fort Myers, Florida on September 27, 2024.
Ronnie was born in East Prairie, Missouri on April 16, 1950 to the late JC and Louis Rudd. He married Barbara E. Rudd, she survives. Ronnie as a Mill Engineer/Supervisor for United States Sugar Corporation and Sugar Cane Growers Co-Op. Ronnie proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1968-1972 as a Reserve Air Crewman, he received the National Defense Medal and many swimming ad sharp shooter awards. Ronnie was an avid fisherman who knew all of the best spots. He always said he caught more fish and his was the biggest. He loved to spend his summers camping, fishing and cooking with family and friends. He could fix anything and taught his family how to shoot his large gun collection.
Ronnie leaves fond memories with his wife; Barbara E. Rudd of Clewiston, daughter; Amanda Mathis and her husband Greg of Clewiston, son; Adam Rudd of Clewiston, his loving grandchildren; Kayla (Colton and Jillian Mathis of Clewiston, Morgan Daniels, sisters; Tonda McGee and her husband Bart of Okeechobee, Carlene Cobb of Tennessee, Kathryn Edwards of Riverbush, Missouri, brother; RV Cochran and his wife Sally of Tennessee along with many extended family members and friends.
Ronnie was preceded in death by both of his parents, JC and Louise Rudd, mother; Georgia Douglas-Larson, brother; Durward Cochran
