Mary "Irene" Irene Griego

On Friday October 11, 2024 Mary “Irene” Griego went home to our Lord Jesus Christ.
Irene was Born on July 16, 1952 to Manuela And Prospero Perea, in Los Lunas N.M.
Irene was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and the list goes on for anyone who knew her.
Irene was the beloved wife of Jimmy Griego for 52 years. Jimmy and Irene were joined in Marriage on June 17, 1972.
They raised three children together: Lisa, Daniel, and Angela.
Irene loved her cats, gardening, and most of all the Lord.
Irene is survived by her husband Jimmy Griego, her sisters Barbara and Linda, her brother Dennis, children: Lisa, Daniel and Angela.
Irene was blessed and survived by eleven grandchildren: Jeremy, Justin, Joseph, Jacob, Jaelyn, Vanessa, Jonathan (Bacon), Brianna, Elizabeth, Devin, and Danni Rose.
Irene is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robert, Paul, and Ross, sister Shirley, and nephew Carlos.
A viewing will be held at Riverside Funeral Home of Los Lunas, on October 19, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM with a sermon to follow.

A celebration of life will be held at Los Lunas Senior Center from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
