Francine Adell Wilson passed away peacefully on October 5, 2024, in Tucson, Arizona. Francine was born October 15, 1946, in Marion, Indiana, to Pauline and Armel “Bud” Schaaf. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald Eugene Wilson; two sons, Brian (Candice) Wilson and Steven (Aimee) Wilson; four grandchildren, Colin Wilson, Olivia Wilson, Steven Wilson, and Sean Wilson. She is also survived by her sister Darlene (Jim) Phillips, Brother-in-law James (Lana) Wilson, sister-in-law, Carolyn (Michael) Kerchner; nieces and nephews Traci (Joseph) Berlingieri, Brandon (Bonnie) Weasner, Kristen Kerchner, Matthew (Meaghan) Kerchner, and Emily (Adam) Jones; great nephew and nieces Nathaniel Berlingieri, Noah Kerchner, and Wyatt Kerchner. After graduating high school, Francine attended International Business College where she met her forever love, Donald Wilson. Don and Fran were married on October 30th, 1966, in Swayze, Indiana. Francine held many careers through her lifetime but loved and took most pride in her position as Office Manager at Maxwell Middle School. Francine was beloved and well respected by all her peers and students at Maxwell. Fran had a gentle, caring, and loving soul that radiated to all who knew her. Francine always put the needs of others before her own. Her beautiful hazel eyes, heartfelt smile, tender touch, love and gentle ways drew everyone to love her. Her family was her pride and joy. Francine was baptized and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 26th at 12:00 PM at the ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Avalon Chapel, 8090 North Northern Avenue in Tucson. A private family graveside service and interment will be November 29th at the Arizona Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery at Marana where she will be laid to rest for eternal peace on earth and in heaven. Donations in lieu of flowers may be given to the American Red Cross.
