Raquel Oliva de Vasquez, 69, of Chualar, CA, passed away on October 13th, 2024. She was born on April 7th, 1955 in León, Guanajuato to Everardo Oliva Godinez & Maria Oliva Cortes. She worked for about 45 years in agriculture, she enjoyed gardening, dancing, and spending quality time with her grandchildren, children, & siblings. 

Raquel is survived by her children Olivia, Manuel, Javier (Viridiana), Oscar (Elizabeth), Everardo, Selene, & Rafael; her grandchildren Oscar, Arely, Jocelyn, Xavier, Manuel, Alexa, & Adrian; lastly, all her pets. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Primitivo Vasquez Ambriz, her parents Everardo Oliva Godinez & Maria Oliva Cortes, her daughter Angelina Vasquez, and her brother Jose Luz Oliva

She was known for being a loving, kind, friendly, & funny mom, grandma, aunt, & sister. She touched the lives of many and will be remembered for being a helpful and generous person.

Family, friends, and others are invited to the memorial service that will be held on Friday October 18th, 2024 at Healey Mortuary, with a viewing starting at 2pm and the rosary starting at 6:30pm. Her funeral services will be done at St Theodore starting at 10am followed by her burial at the Gonzales Cemetery on October 21st, 2024. 

Rest in peace, Raquel. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever.

Raquel Oliva de Vásquez, 69, de Chualar, CA, falleció el 13 de octubre de 2024. Nació el 7 de abril de 1955 en León, Guanajuato. Era hija de Everardo Oliva Godinez y Maria Oliva Cortes. Trabajó durante unos 45 años en la agricultura. Disfrutaba de la jardinería, le gustaba bailar y pasar tiempo de calidad con sus nietos, hijos y hermanos.

A Raquel le sobreviven sus hijos Olivia, Manuel, Javier (Viridiana), Oscar (Elizabeth), Everardo, Selene y Rafael; sus nietos Oscar, Arely, Jocelyn, Xavier, Manuel, Alexa y Adrian; por último, sus mascotas. Fue precedida en la muerte por su amoroso esposo Primitivo Vásquez Ambriz, sus padres Everardo Oliva Godinez y Maria Oliva Cortes, su hija Angelina Vásquez y su hermano José Luz Oliva

Era conocida por ser una madre, abuela, tía y hermana cariñosa, amable, amigable y divertida. Ella tocó la vida de muchos y será recordada por ser una persona servicial y generosa.

Familiares, amigos y otros están invitados al servicio conmemorativo que se llevará a cabo el viernes 18 de octubre de 2024 en Healey Mortuary, con una visita que comienza a las 2 p. m. y el rosario a las 6:30 p. m. Sus servicios funerarios se harán en St. Theodore a partir de las 10 a. m., seguido de su entierro en el cementerio de Gonzales el 21 de octubre de 2024.

 

Descansa en paz, Raquel. Tu recuerdo vivirá en nuestros corazones para siempre.
