Angelo John Pettolino (Junior), 83 late of Cambridge, WI, peacefully passed away in his sleep on October 16, 2024. Angelo was born August 28, 1941 to Mary (Valenti) Pettolino & Angelo Pettolino.  Angelo grew up in Chicago, Illinois with his sister Mary Sue (Pettolino) Kenny. After his high school graduation, Angelo earned an Associate Degree in business management. Angelo began his business career in real estate, buying, renting & selling various Chicago buildings. Angelo began his store business venture by opening The Garden Center, located under the El tracks, next to one of his buildings. Angelo was proud of the amount of landscaping contracts he was able to earn in the Chicago area. He also enjoyed having a few small farm animals on his Sedgwick property, chickens, rabbits & a goat. He allowed local school children to visit his “Chicago Farm” and also sponsored contests to name his “farm animals”. During this period of his life, he celebrated many business wins & generously shared them with the people that worked closely with him to obtain this success.

Angelo met the love of his life, Sharon (Johnson-Hayne) in 1981. In 1986 they decided they were ready for an adventure. This decision took them to Brisbane, Australia, where they established their first company, National Chemical Vending. They ran this company for years and enjoyed all Australia had to offer. They sold National Chemical Vending and upon doing so, enjoyed traveling the world via various cruises. Once that fun was had, they realized they were not ready to retire and began Perfume Manufacturers. For this venture their son & daughter in law (Kevin & Brenda Hayne) joined them to assist with growing the business. After a successful run, the decision was made to sell Perfume Manufacturers.

We had the pleasure of Angelo & Sharon visiting us in Oak Lawn, IL & Homer Glen, IL, every summer from 1992, when their first Grandson was born (promoting them to Grandma & Grandpa AP), thru 2022, when their first Great-Granddaughter was born & they were able to return to the U.S. permanently. During these summers we all enjoyed, playing outside, playing cards & trips to his favorite, Home Run Inn Pizza. Can’t begin to convey the amount of fun, memories & stories that could be told by ALL his family & friends from many summers enjoyed 1992 thru 2022.

In addition to his loving family, Angelo was extremely proud of the fact that he’s an accomplished author.  The AP Theory was published in April 2012 & admitted to the U.S. Library of Congress.

Preceded in death by his parents Mary & Angelo Pettolino and his sister Mary Sue Kenny.

Survived by his loving wife Sharon Hayne-Pettolino, his children Kaitlyn (Robert) Fleming, Kevin (Brenda) Hayne; his grandchildren Alex (Katie) Fleming, Derek Fleming & Jarad Fleming; his great grandchildren Kollyns & Grant Fleming. Angelo is also survived by many close friends & family.
