Linda Sue Fales, born on April 8, 1947, in Newton, Iowa, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024. She was predeceased by her parents, Nadine and Merle Fales. Linda is survived by her sons Brian Edwards and Shawn Edwards (Debbie Gemar), grandsons Cashton Edwards and Jack Edwards, brother David Fales (Melinda Rogers), and sister Nancy Fales, and her beloved Shih Tzu, Reilli.
In 1959, Linda moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, where she graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1965. She later married Paul, the father of her sons Shawn and Brian. In 1973, she made the significant move to Colorado, where she raised her sons as a devoted single mother after her divorce. Linda took immense pride in helping Shawn graduate from college and supporting Brian as he built a successful business.
In 1996, she moved into her beloved home in Highlands Ranch, where she created a nurturing environment for her family, assisting with caring for her grandsons. After raising her family, Linda earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Regis University, reflecting her commitment to personal and professional growth.
Known for her kindness, sensitivity, and deep love for her family and friends, Linda also cared deeply for her neighbors and nurtured those relationships. She cherished her time with her grandchildren, bringing joy and fun into their lives. A faithful member of her church, her love for Jesus Christ was central to her life.
Linda had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying hiking in the beautiful Colorado mountains, visiting picturesque mountain towns, skiing, biking, and taking her grandsons on memorable horseback rides. Her love for dogs and horses added to the joy of her life.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on November 11, 2024 at 2PM MST at Mission Hills Church in Littleton, CO. 620 Southpark Dr, Littleton, CO 80120. Streaming services will be available. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
