Candace Lubell passed away peacefully on August 31, 2024 of natural causes at age 77. She was born on October 26, 1946 to Betty and Darrel Bailey. Betty was a native of California. As a child in a military family, she traveled throughout her childhood, even living in the Philippines for some time.

Candace loved the beach, cooking, playing Yahtzee, doing word puzzles, spending time with her grandchildren, shopping, and visiting her daughters. She worked for years helping the elderly in home health care. She also for Seagate in Scotts Valley for many years and a hotel service person and waitress.

Candace is survived by her daughters Michelle Segovia, Lori Segovia, and Lynn Lovino; granddaughters Rachael Ramirez, Lindsey Ramirez, Amber Segovia, and Austin Ward; grandsons Richard Guinn and Andrew Segovia; and 6 grandchildren. Candace is preceded in death by her spouse of 20 years, Michael Lubell; sister Cathy Wilcher; and her parents Betty and Darrel Bailey.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday October 20, 2024 at 2 pm Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel, 1050 Cayuga St, 1050 Cayuga St, Santa Cruz, CA 95062.
