Patricia E. Thompson of Watertown passed away peacefully on October 18th at Rainbow Hospice after a brief illness.  She was born on July 28th, 1936, to George and Ingrid (Nelson) Pastorius.  She grew up in this area and graduated from Jefferson High School.  Pat met Lee (or Tim as she called him) and they were married on January 28th, 1955. Pat and Lee were involved in 4-H and served as leaders for several years as well as enjoying estate sales and finding treasures together in their older years.

Pat worked at Shopko in Watertown for 29 years where she formed lifelong friendships.  She remained active and independent, whether tending to her yard, looking forward to a new trip with her tour group, meeting with her “coffee friends” or having a garage party.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lee Thompson, daughter Debby Ebert, daughter-in-law Susy Kysely-Thompson and grandson Billy Boettcher.  She is survived by her son Mike Thompson, daughter Cheryl (Robert) Herold, daughter Kathy Boettcher (Jerry Kane), son-in-law Don Ebert, grandsons Bob Herold and Mark Herold, granddaughters Tiffany Ebert, Crystal Ebert and Beth Boettcher as well as step-grandchildren other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday Oct 23rd at Schneider Michaelis Funeral Home 900 W. Racine St.  Jefferson from 9:30 until the service at 11. Burial will follow in the Farmington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to Rainbow Community Care. Pat’s family would like to express sincere thanks to Rainbow Hospice for their excellent and thoughtful care and support.   Online condolences may be made at www.schneidermichaelis.com
