Patsy (Pat) Lou Heideman (76) devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday evening, October 16, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.  Pat was a lifelong resident of Jefferson, Wisconsin. She was born on January 5th, 1948 to Ray and Lou Theime and was the youngest of three daughters.

Pat’s greatest joy was the family she created with the love of her life Roger Heideman whom she married on October 28, 1967.  They were high school sweethearts who remained happily married for nearly 57 years. Together they raised three children,  have three grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous grand dogs.

Pat was a devoted, loving and  thoughtful woman, always tending to and taking care of others.  She was a gifted homemaker who enjoyed decorating and cleaning the house she and Roger built and lived in for 44 years together on Pinecrest drive.  She was an excellent cook who hosted many family gatherings.

In addition to her family, she also had three different careers.  First as an in-home babysitting service, then as a shipping and receiving clerk at Doskocil for 30 years and then as a medical billing specialist for 10 years at Therapy Space. In all of her roles, she was thorough, disciplined and detail oriented, never satisfied with anything less than a top-notch job.

In her free time,  Pat loved to play cards, especially Euchre and Phase 10.  She also  enjoyed bowling, golfing, family camping trips, watching movies,  listening to music and polka dancing. She was the Gemütlichkeit Queen for the city of Jefferson with Roger as her king in 1999.

Pat is survived by her husband Roger; children Gregg ( Sara) Heideman, Brenda ( Rich) Davison Heideman, Andrew ( Jody) Heideman; Grandchildren Lindsey ( Troy) Kjendjie, Lucas ( Alex) Heideman, Drew (Emilee) Monogue: Great grandchildren Scarlett, Brayden, Kinsley, Harper, Hazel, Declan, Phillip, Charlie, and one on the way; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Lou Thieme, her sister Shery Becker and her great nephew Alex Becker.

Pat endured a long and difficult battle with MS with dignity and grace.  Her family admires her strength, courage and perseverance.  They miss her dearly and are also grateful she is now at peace, no longer suffering.

A mass in her honor will take place on Friday October 25, 2024 at 11:00am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Jefferson. A visitation will take place from 9:00 am until the time of service.  The family will gather in private at the family home after the service.  Online condolences may be made at www.schneidermichaelis.com

A donation in Pat’s honor will be made to the St. John’s Catholic church where she was a lifelong member.
