Troy Harms
June 28th, 1959 - October 13th, 2024
Troy Harms, age 65 of Johnstown, passed away October 13, 2024. Troy was born on June 28, 1959 at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Troy was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather, a talented and passionate musician and a loyal friend. He was a man of faith and family, whose passion for playing the drums led him to serve on the worship team at his church as well as two local blues bands, The Blues Dogs and Bluz Kadillak. He loved to travel and was always quick to share his love of art, music, fine wine and Florence Italy. Those who had the privilege of knowing him will be forever changed by his quiet leadership, which has taught all of us how to love more deeply, live intentionally and provide for those in our care.
Troy spent his life contributing meaningfully and sowing seeds in the lives of his family, friends and co-workers. We are infinitely grateful for the time, experiences and the life we have been able to share with this incredible man. His influence and example have forever changed our lives and his legacy will continue in our hearts and lives forever.
Troy is survived by his father Thomas (Michele) Harms; his mother Judith (Randy) Mirowski; his wife Karrie Harms; his son Thomas (Penny) Harms; his daughters, Jessica Harms and Kristen Belanger; his sister, Tracy (Pat) Hegarty; and six grandchildren, Isaiah, Aiden, Benjamin, Shaylah, Ennalee and Logan; and a large extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Please contact the family directly for more information.
