Eugene passed away peacefully at Palm Cottages Assisted Living in Rockledge on October 12, 2024.Eugene will be remembered by his Daughter & Son in law Debbie & Jack Swartz. Eugene was predeceased by his wife of 50 yearsRevella Stifel Who is also interred at OurSaviours. He was born in Granite City, LI in 1927. He moved to Cocoa Beach in 1964. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He was educated at University of Missouri Rolla.He completed his working career with McDonnell Douglas/Boeing and worked on the Mercury, Gemini, and Skylab projects. Later in life he volunteered with Meals on Wheels until age of92, Served as President of St Vincent de Paul at Our Saviours for two separate terms.He enjoyed wood working and made grandfatherclocks and furniture.Friends and family will be received at Our Saviours Catholic Church, 5301 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach FL 32931 on Oct 29, 2024 at 10:30 AM for a funeral mass. Eugene was a member of Our Saviours since 1964 andin lieu of flowers donations to the Church would be greatly appreciated.
