Aubrey Mitchell, 82, of Lexington, SC, and widow of the late Barbara C. Mitchell, passed away on October 19, 2024. He was born in Winnsboro, SC to the late George A. Mitchell, Sr., and Frances S. Mitchell. 

Aubrey is survived by his sister, Frances Kay Mitchell and two daughters, Beth Bouknight and her husband, Doug; and Lynn Twohey and her husband, Mark.  He is also survived by four grandchildren, Cassidy & Tanner Bouknight and Sophie & Cole Twohey. 

Aubrey worked in the timber industry for many years with Westvaco and later with Holmes Timber. He also enjoyed being outside in the woods, watching Atlanta Braves baseball and Clemson football. 

The Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Woodridge Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service.
