Galdino Hernandez Diaz

Galdino Hernandez Diaz passed away on October 21, 2024 at the age of 82. He was born April 18, 1942 in Mexico to Ramon Hernandez and Bernarda Diaz. Galdino was a very hardworking man. He was not one who liked to stay home. He would go to the coffee shop every morning and loved to be out on the town. Galdino also collected coins.
Galdino is survived by his wife of 56 years, Eloisa Lucio Hernandez; son, Mario Hernandez (Maria); grandchildren, Alyssa and Clarissa; and his siblings, Jose, Maggie, and Liliana. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Ricardo, Chano, Modesto, Alicia, and Prisca.
His viewing will be Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 1-5pm with a Rosary Prayer Service at 4pm. His Funeral Mass will be Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 11am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Salinas followed by burial at Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
