Michael "Lucky" Walter Locicero
August 19th, 1942 - October 19th, 2024
"You never know how close you are to the wood chipper"
Michael Locicero, 82, passed at home after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Williamsville, New York on August 19, 1942 to Mike and Ruby Locicero. Remarkably, he was only 2 pounds at birth, but lived a long healthy life until he got cancer. He had one brother, Frank, who predeceased him last year.
He lived in New York until he joined the Army. After serving in the Army, he moved to California in 1969. He worked at AT&T as a lineman and phone installer until his retirement. He met his wife Patti on a blind date in 1972, and they married that year. Last year, they celebrated their 51st anniversary after a long and happy marriage. They had 5 children; Richard, Brian, Teresa, Jessica and Odessa. Richard passed in 2020.
Michael could fix almost anything! He had many hobbies. His favorite was gardening. He also loved oil painting, antique car restoration, fixing tube radios and airplanes.
He leaves behind his wife Patti, their children, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He left numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends as well. We will miss him dearly.
