Andrea Christine Wasson, age 35, passed away holding the hands of loved ones on October 17, 2024, in Tucson, Arizona.

As a child, Andrea was a talented athlete. She excelled at softball and soccer, and she made lasting friends on every field she played. Her favorite story to tell was about the time she accidentally kicked an opponent in the face (the opponent was fine) while she was playing goalkeeper in an indoor soccer match.

Andrea was also a talented musician. She played percussion all through high school and had the most effortless, beautiful singing voice. She loved to sing karaoke: in particular, Gold Dust Woman by Fleetwood Mac. and Andrea's rendition was arguably superior to Stevie's.

She had an incredible, quirky sense of humor. There were times she would have full conversations with siblings and friends that consisted entirely of movie quotes, but still somehow made complete sense. She had an inside joke with everyone she knew and could laugh for hours about the silliest things. She indulged in regular binge- watching sessions of cooking shows, especially Chopped. She always believed she could cook a gourmet meal out of any ingredients,, and she was most likely right.

Andrea gave her love freely. She never hesitated to tell those she cared about that she loved them. If she ever saw a person in need, she was the first one to help without question or judgment. She had an unshakeable faith in Jesus and knew upon her passing that she would be dancing in Heaven with her Grandpa Forrest who precedes her in death.

Andrea is survived by her Grandmothers Becky and Judy, her parents, her siblings, and the ones she loved the most: her nephews Henry, Wade, Ragnar, and Magnus. She will be forever missed by her family and friends, but her spirit will always remain with those she loved.
