Lee, Thomas Henry “Tommy”, of Palm Harbor passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
Born February 10, 1944, in St. Petersburg, FL, where he graduated from Northeast high school. He served in the army from 1965 – 1968, spending a year in Germany as a teletype operator. He went on to work as a route salesman for 40 years. He always reminisced about his time as a “breadman” which was his favorite job.
Tom was a friendly and outgoing person; you knew he was nearby when you heard his hearty laugh. He loved playing poker and cards with the family. He enjoyed traveling with his wife on a different adventure each year. He adopted a senior dog, Buddy, who was his great pal, going on many long walks together.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 41 years, Joyce Kroupa Lee. Children Robert Lee, Janet Strawbridge, Susan Hauer, and Deborah Taylor (Pierce), Stepchildren Laura Keller, Michael Galizia (deceased), Stephanie Thompson (David), and Joseph Galizia, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A service for immediate family will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
