Charlotte Elizabeth Dolak, 86, of Sierra Vista, died quietly on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Northwest Hospital in Tucson surrounded by her family. Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sierra Vista.

She had several vocations from Trucking Clerk to working for the Personnel and Finance teams at Ft. Huachuca in Sierra Vista, AZ. Later, she was proud to have attended Cochise Community College and also got her realtor’s license.

She was married for over 55 years to her beloved husband, George Albert Dolak who predeceased her in 2012. Charlotte served her country proudly as an Army wife, who was often called upon to handle all the family affairs and child rearing while her husband served on hardship tours, including Vietnam. She enjoyed traveling the world with George on his many overseas assignments including Germany, Japan and the Philippine Islands.

She was a kind and giving person with a quick wit, and a wry sense of humor. She will be greatly missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Anna (David), son, George (Ruanda), son, John (Jenny) and son, Albert (Gael). She is also survived by her grandchildren Nick, Micah, Katrina, Gavin, and her great-grandchildren Aribella, Evelyn, and Evelina. She is also survived by two sisters, Evelyn Campbell and Geraldine Bragg.

An inurnment will be held on November 1, 2024, at 2pm at the Southern Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that mourners call a beloved family member or friend and express their love. Charlotte never hesitated to share her love, so the most beautiful memorial we can give her is to emulate her example.
