Michael "Mike" Martinez

Mike was born on December 30th, 1942. He passed away on October 10th, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Debbie Bahrychuk. He was a wonderful father to Cynthia Raleigh (Thomas), Miguel “Bert” Martinez, Danny Martinez, Lori Dorame (John), Autumn Mendivil, and Dante Mendivil (Crystal). Proud grandfather to numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Auburn and Hailey Avery being raised by him. Mike also has many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is also survived by siblings: Frank Romero (Manuela), Jimmy Romero (Terry), Ramon Romero (Clara), Mary Helen Romero, Modesto Martinez (Maryann), and Micaela Martinez (Theo).

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, his parents, Modesto Martinez and Gloria Corrales Romero, stepfather, Frank “Tata Chito” Romero, and his siblings: Frances Federico, Rosa Bedoy (Henry), Mabel Diaz (Ray), Antonia Holguin (Lalo), Margarita Borboa (Chito), Bertha Martinez, Wilo Martinez, and Frankie Romero, Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 22nd, 2024 at 10:00am at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church with a reception following in the parish hall.

Mike will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and community. The family wished to express with deep appreciation for the many expressions of love and kindness shown to all of us during this difficult time.
