Leave a tribute

Jerald Wayne Hanson, known by us who loved him as Jerry, passed away on October 5th, 2024. Jerry had most recently been residing at Devon Gables Rehabilitation Center in Tucson.

Jerry was born on May 9th, 1946 in Dorchester, Massachusetts to George and Priscilla Hanson. He joined his older sister, Georgia, and brother, Dennis. He was joined by another sister in three years, Donnalee, and then by his brother, Eric. Soon after the family's sights were set upon Arizona where they settled in Tucson.

A few years later, the family moved to Lebanon, Oregon. Jerry attended Lebanon Union High and then joined the Air Force. Jerry married Karen Noland and together they raised her two sons, Jeff and Rick. They were married for over 50 years when Karen preceded him in death in November of 2023.

Jerry leaves behind his sister, Donnalee, his step-sons, Jeff and Rick, and many grandchildren.

Jerry's ashes will be spread in the desert outside Tucson as he desired.
