James Curtis Yeager, 74, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away peacefully on October 26. He is preceded in death by his mother, Muriel Yeager; father, L. Robert Yeager; and brother, L. Robert Yeager, Jr. A devoted husband, father, and friend, James touched the lives of many with his warmth, humor, and kindness.

Born in McKinney, Texas, James lived a life filled with adventure and love. He was known for his passion for cycling, hiking, golf, photography and music, and he loved nothing more than sharing these passions with his family and friends.

Earning his degree in Business Administration and Accounting at North Texas State University, James dedicated his career as a Chief Financial Officer to both public and private companies, earning respect and admiration from colleagues and clients alike. His commitment to excellence and his unwavering integrity were hallmarks of his character. He retired in 2016.

Above all, James cherished his family. He is survived by Robin Yeager, his beloved wife, Haley Yeager, Sierra Jacobson and Vanessa Kendall, his treasured daughters as well as his extended family Jessey Krych and Cassidy Krych, who will all carry on his legacy of love, adventure and laughter. He was a constant source of support and encouragement, always ready with a listening ear and a comforting word.

A memorial service will be held at 9:00am on Friday, November 1, at Regency Mortuary, where friends and family can gather to celebrate his life and share cherished memories. In loving memory of James, we invite you to honor his memory with either flowers or donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.

James will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
