Dixie Jean Wallin Eisenmann went to be with her Lord on October 21st, 2024. Dixie was born in Yelm, WA on March 9th, 1936 to Ida and Arthur Wallin. She graduated from Yelm High School in 1954 and attended local community college.

Before her marriage to James, Dixie worked as a secretary for the State of WA and a chemical firm in Tacoma.

Dixie married James Eisenmann to whom she devoted her life on April 6th, 1957. Dixie is survived by her husband James, daughter Karla Pollen and son in law John, grandchildren Tamara Boettcher (Karl), and Katrina Botts (Joe), and great grandchildren Madalyn, Grace, and Shelby, and many nieces and nephews. Dixie was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Karen, sister Grace, four brothers Carl, Leonard, George, and Fred, and two nephews, Bruce and Don.

She and Jim, a retired pharmacist, owned Lake City Pharmacy in Lakewood and Drugway Pharmacy in Tacoma.

Dixie and Jim always lived in the Northwest and spent their last 42 years in their home on Dumas Bay where they enjoyed bird watching, boating, fishing in the Puget Sound and growing old together.

Dixie’s favorite interests were church and being devoted to her family. She was active in Washington State Pharmaceutical Auxiliary and Beta Sigma Phi. She enjoyed flying with Jim in their airplane and made several out of state trips.

Much of Dixie’s life was spent in caring for their daughter Karen who became disabled at the age of 4 and went to be with the Lord at the age of 45.

Rejoice with me, I am where I longed to be. Private services were held.
