Robert "Bob" Stewart Strom, Jr.
January 23rd, 1942 - October 25th, 2024
Robert Stewart Strom, Jr. passed away peacefully at the age of 82, on October 25th, 2024.
Robert was affectionally known as Bob Strom, a retired business owner who loved to study the Bible, ski in the Alps of Italy, dance to Elvis Presley and make those around him laugh with his unique sense of humor. Bob would often share stories of growing up in Wheaton, Illinois and his early years in Chicago. He also talked about his amazing experiences of traveling the world as a successful importer of home furnishings. Bob was a marathon runner and believed in physical fitness and loved to see his many friends at the YMCA of Arlington, TX.
Bob was a student of Business Administration at Colorado College. While living in Cascade, Colorado, Bob helped his cousin, Bill Daniels, the founder of Cablevision, to install and develop the many miles of cable TV access to the people of Cascade and Colorado Springs, Colorado in the 1960's.
Bob leaves behind three sons, Robert Stewart Strom III (Cassandra) of Colorado Springs, David Paul Strom (Debi) of New Braunfels, TX, and Matthew Joseph Strom (Kimorie) of Louisville, KY, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A private memorial of Bob's life and legacy will be attended with his immediate family.
