Linda Wanner, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2024, at the age of 85.

Born on February 5, 1939, in Hubbard, Oregon, she was the eldest of three sisters and graduated from Molalla High School, where she met her lifelong partner, Gordon Wanner. They enjoyed 67 years of marriage.

Linda exemplified unwavering dedication and support as she managed the family farm alongside Gordon, raising their three children—Ted, Kris (Cliff), and Jason (Julia). Together, they created many cherished memories, often involving horses and cows.

Ever active, Linda had a passion for gardening and loved to travel. She explored many locations across the United States, as well as Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Holy Lands. When at home, she often could be found tending to her beautiful flower beds and rose garden. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her family, as she generously contributed to various organizations, always finding time to lend a helping hand.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Gordon; her sister, Diane (Allyn); three children; and four beloved grandchildren, Paul, Amanda, Jonah, and Jaden. She was preceded in death by her sister Lela.

A funeral service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 15534 E. Marquam Road,

Mt. Angel, Oregon 97362 on Saturday, November 9, at 1 PM, with interment and a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local charity of your choice in Linda's memory. Arrangements entrusted to Canby Funeral Chapel.
