Bobby "Bob" Gene Pearson, 87, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2024. Born on December 24, 1936, to Rosa Mathis Pearson and Talmer Gladstone Pearson, Bob spent his early years in South Carolina, where he graduated from Clinton High School in 1954. A standout athlete, he played football, basketball, and baseball during his high school years. In 1956, Bob joined the United States Air Force, serving his country honorably until his discharge in 1960.

Bob earned a business degree from Georgia State University and spent most of his career in real estate. He significantly contributed to the industry, including establishing two Re/Max real estate franchises in Fayette County, Georgia. After many years in Georgia, he eventually settled in Carson City, Nevada and Railroad Flat, California. In retirement, Bob continued to embrace his lifelong passion for sports, especially playing golf and cheering for Clemson University football.

He was preceded in death by his son, Robert "Robby" Eugene Pearson, and long-time partner, Catherine "Cathy" Barstad. He is survived by his former wife, Barbara Pearson; their daughter, Melanie Pearson (Kyle Bradley); and his beloved grandchildren, Reese Bradley, Davis Bradley, Caleb Pearson, and Madeleine Pearson. Bob, one of 13 siblings, leaves behind a large extended family of cherished relatives, including many nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held by immediate family members. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sutter Amador Hospital Foundation, which supports the small, community-based hospital in Jackson, California where Bob was treated with respect and dignity, would be greatly appreciated.
