Charles "Rusty" Russell Carlson

Charles Russell “Rusty” Carlson, beloved husband, father, brother and uncle, died September 15th, 2024, at home peacefully after a two-year battle with cancer.

Charles “Rusty” is survived by his wife Tiki Carlson, and their two children; son, Dustin Russell Carlson and daughter l. Alison Carlson  and always the center of his world. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles F. and Shirley E. Carlson, and his younger sister, Connie J. Carlson. Rusty is also survived by many nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews and friends. Rust is also survived by his six siblings, Christine McInnis, Corrine Russell, Cindy Palm, D. “Rocky” Carlson, Joni Carlson, and Casey Carlson.

Rusty attended Olympia and Capital High Schools where he created friendships that have proven to last a lifetime.

A Celebration of Rusty's life will be held on Saturday, November 16th, 2024 between 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Skookumchuck Grange Hall in Tenino WA.

Rusty had an interest in everything motorized. He entered into the automotive industry at the age of  20, working as a car wash and detail attendant.

After spending his childhood working closely beside his father in the garage and out-of-doors, Employed at the Olympia Autobody, he remained in the auto body repair industry for his entire career and rest of this life. He prided himself on everything auto.

By far his favorite sport was football ( and all facets of it.) He enjoyed motorsports of all kinds throughout his life  as well as his love of boating and water sports.

Rusty has  saved life's, protected many and befriended countless other in his lifetime. His playful and joyful spirit will live on forever in his many memories.
