September 14th, 1963 - November 3rd, 2024
*Obituary of Robert James Fischer** With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Robert James Fischer, who departed this world on November 3, 2024, in Lexington, Kentucky. Born on September 14, 1963, in Louisville, Kentucky, Robert's vibrant spirit and devoted heart left an indelible mark on all who knew him. A proud graduate of Onieda High School in Kentucky, Robert pursued a fulfilling career with Johnson Controls. His professional journey was marked by an unwavering work ethic and a passion for innovation. Beyond his career, Robert was a man of diverse interests and talents. An avid hunter and fisherman, his love for the outdoors was a reflection of his adventurous spirit. Whether casting a line in fresh or salt water or exploring the wilderness with bow and rifle, he embraced nature with zeal and respect. Robert's enthusiasm extended to the intricate art of taxidermy where he graduated from Kindred Spirits Taxidermy School. He had heart and passion for the vibrant culture of Renaissance Faire. His talent for creating authentic clothing from the time periods and his dedication to the medieval arts showcased his creativity and zest for life. As a beekeeper, he nurtured nature with gratitude and precision, leaving behind a legacy of sustainability. In his personal life, Robert was known for his ambition, energy, and kindness. These qualities resonated through his relationships and endeared him to his family and friends. That's what captured the heart of his beloved Warrior Princess, Dana Breckel. Together they spent the last decade showing compassion and love for every person they met. They traveled together, fell more in love with the outdoors from kayaking to archery and being with friends at Renaissance Faire. There is no doubt about it they sought out adventure at every turn. He is lovingly survived by his parents Logan "Skip" Fischer and Marilyn; his brother Ross A. Fischer DVM; beloved, Dana Breckel; his stepdaughter Lawryn Maxwell and her husband John; two cherished grandchildren; his stepsons Jared and Jacob Breckel; his uncle Ricky A. Fischer DVM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Clark Legacy Center in Frankfort, Kentucky.
A Celebration of Life has been planned for December 8, 2024 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at the Kentucky Renaissance Faire during the Dickens Festival at the Viking Long Hut.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Knights of Cuchulian.
