Donna Marie Miller

Donna Marie Miller, 68, of Widefield, Colorado, passed away peacefully in her home on October 21, 2024. Born on June 25, 1956, in Binghamton, New York to Douglas and Theresa Miller, Donna was one of four children—blessed with two brothers and a sister.

Donna’s love for life was evident in everything she did. Her passion for God and the unwavering belief that she was loved by Him gave her strength and joy. She spent her days surrounded by things that brought her happiness: playing card games and watching movies with her housemate, singing along to her favorite Rock and Roll tunes, having a cold beer in the summer after helping in the garden, and, even when she may not have had the strength, she was dedicated to her physical fitness. Donna was devoted to her day program aka: work, always showing up with a positive attitude and a kind word for everyone.

Donna was a social butterfly who never met a stranger. She was a loyal and caring friend, always ready to offer support and love. Donna’s deep connection to her host home family was one of the cornerstones of her life, and she cherished every opportunity to join in family functions—especially when they involved a party or a slice of chocolate cake.

Donna’s vibrant spirit touched many lives, and she was loved and supported by the wonderful teams at The Arc Pikes Peak Region, Dungarvin Colorado, Special Kids Special Families (Joey’s Place), The Resource Exchange, and many others. She will forever hold a place in our hearts, and her memory will live on in the countless lives she brightened.

As Donna would say “You go girl” and “Right on Man”!

Donna, you will be dearly missed by all who knew you.

Memorial Service will be 3:00PM - 4:00PM, Tuesday, November 12, 2024 and a reception 4:00PM - 6:00PM at The Springs Funeral Services.
