James Joseph Buss, known to all as Jim, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, was peacefully called to his heavenly home on October 29, 2024, at the age of 83, surrounded by the love of his children. Jim was born to Harold and Virginia Buss on December 15, 1940. Soon after leaving his parents' home, he married the love of his life, Judith Mary Launderville. The two were inseparable for nearly 60 years. Jim enjoyed cooking, the outdoors, fast cars, and loving his family. 

 

Jim is survived by his son, David Buss, and his wife, Chandra; daughters, Deborah Buss, Dianne Hoffman, and Denise Callen and her faithful husband, Scott; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren; siblings Harold “Butch” Buss, and his beloved wife Marilyn, Beverly Kramer, Elizabeth Gray; nieces and nephews.

 

Jim’s life will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Sandberg Funeral Home, 2593 E. 7th Ave, North St. Paul, MN. Memorials can be sent to Sandberg Funeral Home. In place of flowers, monetary donations can be sent to The Pillars Hospice Home, Oakdale, Minnesota.
