Anida Louise Evans (86), cherished mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on October 29, 2024. She was born February 22, 1938 in Flint Michigan. She graduated nursing college and married Fred Evans in 1958. Fred and Anida were married 47 years until his passing in 2005. They had three children, Diane (Franks), John, and Paul. In 1969 the family moved to a ranch in Marana, AZ. Anida worked in hospitals until she found a job as Marana Unified District Nurse for over 25 years. Anida enjoyed numerous trips to Hawaii, whale watching, and raising her children. In her retirement she loved to travel back to Michigan for long periods of time to spend time with her sister. She lived the last 12 years of her life swimming, reading the newspaper daily, and enjoying her great grandchildren Gibson and Hadley.

 

Predeceased by husband Frederick Evans (2005), son Paul Evans (2011), grandson Kyle Franks (2006)

 

Survived by sister Kaye (Joel) Gougeon; daughter Diane (Gary) Franks, son John Evans; grandchildren Courtney, Ashley, Riley, Shelby; numerous great grandchildren; aunt to Amy Gougeon; great aunt to Josh, Andrew, Rebecca.
