Victoria Whitney Caine

"You Are My Sunshine"
Following a two-year fight with cancer, 31-year-old Victoria Whitney Caine went home to Heaven with Jesus in her new glorified body on October 4, 2024.
She was the daughter of M. Roxanne Miles of Fort Myers, Florida, and Wm. Jones Caine of Ridge Spring.
Victoria was born in Columbia, SC and grew up in Irmo. After graduating from Irmo High School, she moved to Fort Myers, Florida.
Victoria cherished life. Any room she walked into would be illuminated by her radiant smile. She combined the qualities of a lover and a fighter. She cared deeply about people, especially the lost and the wounded. She had a remarkable ability to connect with individuals on a profound level.
She appreciated many forms of art. She frequently spent hours constructing the creations of her life and with others. She loved to paint and draw. She loved animals and never passed up the chance to show them her affection.
She enjoyed the simple things in life, like singing her favorite song, “You are my Sunshine,” laughing with her friends, watching the sunrise and sunset over the ocean, and most importantly, going fishing with her father. Since time is a scarce resource, her father treasured every moment they spent together and the memories they created on this earth. She made use of all the hues in the box that was life.
She is survived by her father, Wm. Jones Caine; her mother, M. Roxanne Miles; her children, Dean Kolehep, Jr., Ashton Shealy, Raelynn A. Blasi, Elise Blasi, and Raymond E. Blasi, Jr.; her brothers, Braydon J. Caine, Wm. J. “Cooper” Caine, Jr., and Christian Miles; her aunt, Dorothy “Dottie” A. Dantzler; and her cousin, Sarah D. Caine-Martin. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Daniel M. Caine, Dorothy A. Knight, Lonnie Miles and Carolyn Miles, and her uncle, Daniel M. Caine, Jr.
