She married Barney Leto on January 25, 1957, in California.
She is pre-deceased by her husband Barney Leto, her sons Salvatore Leto and Robert Leto and her daughter Patricia Rushford.
Janet is survived by her son Joseph Kirkpatrick, Sr. (Mary) and her daughter Janet Offet (Don). Grandchildren Ronald Offet (Monique), Donnie Offet, Kaitlin Offet-Lugo (Tobby), Joseph Kirkpatrick Jr. (Kristen), Alfonso Tomp Jr. (Nancy), Richard Tomp (Karen) and Karen Gregory (John). Great-grandchildren Leilani Offet, Luca Offet, Amira Offet, Cealy Kirkpatrick, Eli Kirkpatrick, Quentin Gillespie, Julie Vinzant (Ben), Shelby Rust, Cecilia Buice, Francie Tomp.
Janet was a homemaker for most of her life. She worked for Rax and Dunkin' Donuts as a manager in Oregon before retiring to take care of her husband. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ in Bell California and was the pianist for over 30 years.
In her leisure time she enjoyed playing her piano, reading, watching classic television, spending time with her grand kids, going on adventures at the coast, watching the Yankees and watching the wildlife and birds in the yard.
She will be buried next to her daughter Patricia Rushford at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene Oregon.
