Dorothy Nell “Dottie” Morris, 85, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away peacefully on Friday, November 1, 2024.

A native of Kernersville, NC, Dottie was the daughter of Brooks William Morris and Rebecca Malissa Conrad Morris, both deceased.

Survivors include her cousins, Bob Morris, Lee Essick and husband, Tommy, Jill Pearman, Becky McMordie and husband, Jim, and Connie Miller and husband, Alex.

In addition to her parents, Dottie was preceded in death by her brothers, William Morris and Calvin Morris.

Funeral services celebrating Dottie’s life will be held at 3:00PM Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. Inurnment will follow at Waughtown Baptist Church Cemetery, Winston-Salem, NC. The family will greet friends from 2:00PM to 3:00PM Saturday prior to the service in the chapel.
