Ralph Carroll Warwick passed away peacefully on October 19, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Born on November 27, 1939, in Boise, Idaho, to Ralph and Ethel Warwick, Carroll was the eldest of three boys. Raised in Nampa, Idaho, he grew up attending Nampa Fellowship Tabernacle, where he developed a deep faith in Christ that would guide him throughout his life.

A 1958 graduate of Nampa High School, Carroll was not only a dedicated student but also a talented musician and athlete, serving as the student body vice-president, playing the violin, and competing on both the varsity basketball and baseball teams. He later attended Northwest Nazarene College, where he earned his degree in 1962.

On June 23, 1961, Carroll married the love of his life, Roberta Roberts. Together, they raised four children—Rex, Robb, Rebecca “Becky”, and Ryan—nurturing their family with faith, love, and unwavering support.

Jesus was the center of his life, and his devotion to his faith was at the heart of everything he did. For over 60 years, he served his church, Meridian Gospel Tabernacle (now Legacy Church), as a Sunday School teacher, choir director, violinist in the worship team and board member.

His greatest joy was his long-standing involvement with Pine Acres Youth Camp, where he served as a counselor and lifeguard for nearly 40 years. Carroll was even credited with creating the “Buddy System” reflecting his dedication to ensuring both safety and spiritual growth among the youth. His passion for introducing young people to Jesus, leading them to the Holy Spirit and making a lasting impact on their lives was a defining aspect of his walk with Christ.

Carroll also excelled in his professional life, building a successful career in insurance and financial planning. As a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), he was a pioneer in the adoption of 401(k) plans and an expert in Qualified Retirement Plans.

Carroll was a proud and loving father, he was his children’s biggest fan, attending countless athletic events to cheer them on, a role he continued with his grandchildren. He also cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren at the family cabin in Cascade, Idaho.

Most importantly, Carroll raised his family in church where they all learned to love Jesus and put Him first. His love for his family and his commitment to raising them in the faith left a profound, multi-generational legacy, extending to his 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Carroll is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Roberta, and their children: Rex and Debbie Warwick, Robb and Lori Warwick, Becky and Greg Oram, and Ryan and Shannon Warwick, all of Meridian, Idaho. He also leaves behind his precious grandchildren: Shawn (Jennifer), Melissa (Aaron), Kimberly (Kyle), Michelle (Jordan), David (McKensie), Erin, Leslie (Jordan), Tyler (Natalie), Ashley (Cody), Jacob, Abigail, and Madeleine, as well as his great-grandchildren: Winston, Eleanor, Vivienne, Marshall, Lincoln, Kennedy, Emmett, Evelyn, Emersyn, Ryker, Ella, Adeline, Charlotte, Brady, Parker, and Cooper.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Generations Care Group, and the Friday morning men's Bible study, for their love and prayers during Carroll’s illness. You were all so important to him. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at St. Luke's for your compassion and care. And a very special thank you to Mindy Robinson for taking care of Carroll and the whole family during his last week of life.

A celebration of Carroll’s life will be held at 4 o’clock on November 3rd at  Legacy Church 1507 N Meridian Rd. Meridian, Idaho.   There will be food and fellowship to follow. Services are under the care of Accent Funeral Home, remembrances may be left for the family at www.AccentFuneral.com.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made online in Carroll’s memory to Pine Acres Youth Camp, continuing his lifelong mission of sharing Christ’s love with the next generation.

We Entrusted Ralph Warwick's Care To

Accent Funeral Home

A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
