Jane Ruth Montgomery, 84, of Tucson, Arizona (formerly Indianapolis, Indiana) passed away peacefully November 1st, 2024, with family by her side. Jane was born on July 10th, 1940, to parents Lloyd R. and Gladys L. Montgomery.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Hack (Roger), son, Bill Carney (Sandi), 7 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Preceded in death by both parents, sisters, Ramona Woodard, Carolyn Montgomery, and Sherie Niehaus, her children, Robert Carney, Carol Gorsline, and Timothy Carney, and her grandchildren, Jessica Fogleman and Kyle Fogleman.
Jane was a strong woman who worked hard to raise five children on her own. She worked for Pepsi Cola in Indianapolis for 35 years before retirement. She moved to Tucson, Arizona with her daughter in 2012 and enjoyed her days playing bingo or cards, watching scary movies, and spending time with her family.
