Fay Ming, born on May 9, 1944, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024, in Chico, California. Fay was a vivacious spirit, known for her warmth, humor, and zest for life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband and best friend, Raymond Ming, with whom she shared a life filled with laughter, adventure, and mutual admiration. Together, they built a home that was a space filled with joy, laughter, and, of course, a love for cats.
Fay was a devoted member of her Catholic faith, finding strength and community through her spiritual life. She was also a proud and active member of the Moose Lodge and the Chico Portuguese Club, where she formed cherished friendships and contributed to the activities and causes she cared about. Fay’s fun-loving energy touched everyone she met. Whether dancing, traveling to new places, or adding her unique flair to home décor and holiday festivities, Fay’s passion for life was evident in everything she did.
Fay’s creativity, kindness, and humor will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and community, but her spirit will live on in the joyful memories she gifted to all who knew her.
