South Hadley - Mary Ann (Crean) Hudock, a compassionate nurse and beloved wife and mother, passed away on November 7, 2024, at Baystate Medical Center. Born on June 17, 1963, in Holyoke, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edmund J. and Eleanor (McCurry) Crean.

Mary led a life dedicated to caring for others, a calling she embraced through her education at Holyoke Catholic High School and Holyoke Community College, where she became a Registered Nurse. Her career began at Providence Hospital, and she later served as an Operating Room nurse at the Holyoke Medical Center, Baystate Medical Center, and most recently at the Greater Springfield Surgical Center.  Her colleagues will remember her passion and dedication to her work.

Mary was a devoted wife to Thomas A. Hudock and a loving mother to daughter Anna Grace Hudock and son Thomas E. Hudock and his wife Lynn (Annis) Hudock. As a MiMi, her joy knew no bounds when it came to spending treasured moments with her grandsons, Samuel and Benjamin, who brought immense pride and happiness to her life.

Preceded in death by her brothers Edmund J. "Skip" Jr. and James Crean, Mary leaves behind her sister Helen Crean-Taughter and husband Kevin, her dear dog Riley. Her presence will also be profoundly missed by her many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, as well as the numerous McCurry and Crean cousins.

Family, friends, and all whose lives Mary touched are invited to celebrate her life during calling hours on Thursday, November 14th, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Her family will remember her for her ability to light up the room and uplift people's spirits on tough days.  Her legacy of kindness, dedication, and familial love will endure in the hearts of those who knew her.
