Teresa Wayn Gilbert

Teresa Wayn Gilbert 69 of Meridian, passed away November 8, 2024 due to complications from Cystic Fibrosis and Cancer.

Born in 1955 to Robert J. and Norma D. Gilbert. She attended St. Joseph Catholic school, East Jr. High, graduating from Boise High School in 1973 making many friends along the way. She had various book keeping, accounting, clerical jobs throughout her life. She also worked in various positions in Concrete Construction.She loved Idaho and spent her free time outdoors enjoying the splendor of the state. She traveled and hiked and camped throughout the Intermountain West. She particularly enjoyed working in her flower garden. Once diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis her ability to travel and enjoy the area became limited. 

She was preceded in death by both her parents. She wishes to give a heartfelt thanks to all the Physicians, Nurses, Cystic Fibrosis team, and Hospice team Nurses throughout the St. Luke's Healthcare system who provided her tender care. She loved all of you.She loved all people and animals and life, especially her Vizsla pups. In lieu of flowers she would encourage anyone interested to donate to any foodbank or animal shelter to help care for the people and animals left behind.

She is survived by her lucky to have known her companion of nearly 40 yrs.
