In Loving Memory

Tammy Dawn Smothers, 60, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2024.

A native of Winston-Salem, NC, Tammy was the fiancé of Kevin R. Albert and the daughter of the late Horace Victor "Dick" Smothers and Brenda Thompson Smothers, who survives. Tammy could light up any room she walked into with just her smile. As fiery as her hair, she was a breath of fresh air to anyone who needed to be uplifted. Her generosity and kindness were unmatched to all those around her. Tammy's recent re-devotion of herself to the Lord highlighted her amazing faith in Christ and the people around her. Her faith has now become sight. Tammy was absolutely loved and will be greatly missed.

Tammy is now reunited with her son, Christopher Mueller, and her father, who both preceded her in death. Survivors include her mother, Brenda; brother, Vic Smothers and wife, Gwen; nieces and nephews, Jordan Smothers, Lacy Smothers, Erica Edwards, and Easton Edwards; special cousin, Kathy Kiger; and fiancé, Kevin R. Albert and his children, Phillip Albert, Taylor Albert, and Samanntha Albert.

A memorial service celebrating Tammy’s life will be held at 11:00AM Friday, November 15, 2024, at Oaklawn Baptist Church with Pastor Jay Boyce and Reverend Jim Saul officiating.
