Mrs. Mamie Lewis “Pat” Edwards, 82, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

A native of Surry County, NC, Pat was the wife of 58 years to Roger Lee Edwards and the daughter of Burton Lewis and Versie Pike Lewis, both deceased.

Survivors include her husband, Roger; sons, Rick Combs and wife, Sandy, and Rodney Edwards; grandchildren, Joshua Combs, Lucas Combs, Rachel Combs, Meaghan Lineberry and husband, Matthew, and Maribeth Curtis and husband, Isaac; great grandson, Wyatt Lee Lineberry; and brother, Terry Gammons.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her brother, Edgar Meredith and sister, Brenda Jones.

Funeral services celebrating Pat’s life will be held at 1:00PM Friday, November 15, 2024, at Welcome Door Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory, Kernersville, NC. The family will greet friends from 12:00PM to 1:00PM Friday prior to the service at the church.
