Reid Arthur Yaple 5/25/34 - 11/8/24

The only son of Lauren and Flora Yaple, Reid grew up among extended family and friends in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Reid married the love of his life, Joanne Aitken enjoying 65 years of adventures together.  While they loved going out in their RV, back-packing through Europe and cruising the world, they cherished time with their family the most.

A true negotiator, Reid bought his first gas station at 17 years old and second by 18.  He loved a good deal, a good game of rummy and an occasional visit to the casino.  He was renowned for making a great Bloody Mary and for his ability to find any car part for any car during his years at Clark’s Auto Parts in Santa Rosa California.

Reid is survived by his daughters Robin (Sam) and Renee (Jim), son Randy (Maria), 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and 7 nieces & 1 nephew.  He was proceeded by his wife Joanne, daughter Rayna, sister Reva, parents Lauren and Flora, grandson Daniel and fur-baby Rubin.

Donations may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital.
