JEFFERY DEAN MILLARD

Jeff Millard, 70, passed 11/4/24 of a stroke.

He was born to Boyd and Shirley Millard (a twin to John) on 10/28/54 in Los Banos, CA. He grew up on White Drive in Durham, finishing school at PV in Chico. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. A dedicated dependable hard working man, his work history includes Jessup Door where he worked with his father and brothers, Davey, Utility, Asplundh Tree companies, and for the last 10 years MJB Welding.

He was preceded in death by his father Boyd Millard (Octavia), brothers Ron (Linda), Boyd Glenn, and sister Marie (Jeff Dow). Jeff leaves his wife Loran (Zoe, Mitchell), adored son Chad (Karly), and grandbaby Mabel, twin brother John (Lori), sister Lea (Jerry Bode), mother Shirley Albers, and a large number of extended family and friends.

Jeff was a patient and loving man who adored children, enjoyed playing on church softball travel leagues, was a member of Chico Rod and Gun range, practiced target shooting, was a great pickleball player, amazing gardener, architect, mechanic, cook (made great jerky), could make or fix anything, and was a real renaissance man.

He was one of God’s children who most recently attended Pleasant Valley Baptist church. His passing has left a hole in our hearts but we feel he is dancing in Heaven with those who have gone before him. Family and friends please mark your calendar: A celebration of life will be held at Chico Masonic Center, 1110 W East Avenue, Chico, from 2-5 pm on Saturday, May 10th.
