Constance Margaret Kurtz

Constance Margaret Kurtz, age 99, born in Atlantic City on September 3rd, 1925, passed away peacefully on October 29th at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay. She was preceded in death by her husband Marlyn Kurtz and son, William Kurtz. She is survived by her two daughters Kathleen Brohawn and Lisa Goff,  her sons-in-law Michael Brohawn and Mark Goff and daughter-in-law, Anne Kurtz. . She was blessed with five grandchildren, Timothy and Matthew Brohawn, Brandon Goff and Delaney Lepore, and Vincent Kurtz, as well as three great grandchildren, Hudson and Isla Brohawn and William Goff. Connie met her husband Marlyn while he was delivering ice to her home with his father in Harrisburg PA. Married after the war, Connie helped her husband with his studies as he graduated from Penn State University on the GI Bill. A wonderful cook and homemaker, she was an avid animal lover who, over her lifetime, raised six collies. After moving to Florida with Marlyn 30 years ago, she enjoyed her time in her Indian River home which was the warm center of family activities. She will live on in our hearts. A celebration of life will take place at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 18th at Georgianna Church 3925 South Tropical Trail, Merritt Island.  She will be reunited with her husband, Marlyn at Cape Canaveral at a later date.
