Mrs. Helen Rushing Wilson, 88, of Kernersville, NC passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2024.

 

A native of Forsyth County, NC, Helen was the wife of the late James Russell Wilson and the daughter of John Paul Rushing and Vassie Linville Rushing, both deceased. 

 

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Wilson Floyd and husband, Joe; son, James Michael “Mike” Wilson; three grandchildren, Clint Head, David Morris and wife, Stephanie, and Amanda Cooper and husband, Chris; seven great grandchildren, Kayla Logan, Chase Logan, Tyler Logan, Grace Russell, Emily Russell, Bryson Morris, and Christian Myers; and six great-great grandchildren.

 

In addition to her husband and parents, Helen was preceded in death by her three brothers, Kenneth Rushing, Harold Rushing, and Billy Rushing.

 

The family will greet friends from 12:30PM to 1:30PM Monday, November 18, 2024, at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Services Kernersville Chapel. A graveside service celebrating Helen’s life will be held at 2:00PM Monday at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory, Kernersville, NC.
